This 2021 Vintage, DARKES Heritage has been created from Yarlington Mill, Kingston Black and Improved Foxwhelp, a blend of old English apple varieties, historically used to make deep, bold and complex ciders.

For this vintage we cold crushed our apples, and then fermented using a ‘new world’ meets ‘old world’ style process.

By aging on lees and in French oak barriques we have achieved a dry rounded finish in this cider. For the full experience ‘rouse’ the bottle, by gently rolling before opening and pouring. The sediment assists to create a fuller mouthfeel. Go on an adventure, dive in boots and all.
