COLLECTION OF INFORMATION
In order to use the Darkes website, we may require information from you in order to provide the best service possible. All correspondence may also be collected and stored, particularly in regard to sales, support and accounts, including email. Any information collected by Darkes is collected via correspondence from you or your company. This may be via the telephone, email, mail, fax or directly through our website.
USE OF COLLECTED INFORMATION
Any details collected from Darkes customers is required in order to provide you with our products and/or services, and a high level of customer service. Correspondence is recorded in order to provide service references and to assist in our staff development.
We retain details necessary for successful fulfilment of your order and may use them for marketing purposes, for example, emailing or posting you information about seasonal offers. These include: name, address, telephone number and email address of the sender, name, address, telephone number and email address of the recipient. We do not sell addresses to any other companies. DARKES SECURITY POLICY
Darkes uses PayPal for its online credit card transactions as a secure means of collecting payments via the Internet. Your complete credit card number cannot be viewed by Darkes or any outside party.
After ordering online, you will receive an email confirmation containing your order details.

At busy times of the year delivery times can be extended. Please make sure that delivery address & postcode are correct as we cannot be responsible for non-delivery due to an incorrect address. Likewise in the event of extreme weather or other events out of our control (eg civil actions, delivery vehicle breakdown etc), we cannot be responsible for any delivery delays.
Please leave instructions succinctly describing a safe place for the parcel in case you are out. At time of delivery.
All prices on the Darkes.com.au site are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD).
REFUND & RETURNS
AtDarkes, we take pride in delivering the best quality produce at reasonable prices. If your expectations have not been met, we would love to know about it.
If you aren’t happy with what you find, please call us right away on 02 42943421 and if possible email pictures to firstname.lastname@example.org and we will do our best to put it right. If you’d like a replacement order, we can send that out for you or if you would rather just have your money back, we can do that too.
Likewise, if the box has been damaged during delivery, please call us as soon as possible and if possible email us pictures. Risk of damage or deterioration to the goods passes to you, as the buyer, on delivery so please contact us as soon as possible. No claim for damage or deterioration after delivery can be accepted unless we’re informed straight away. Nor can we accept any responsibility for quality deterioration due to the following delivery problems:
- Incorrect addresses
- Unopened parcels
- Gifts to recipients who have gone away or are unable to receive parcels.
ONLINE REFUND & RETURNS
For any feedback or refund requests for online deliveries, please contact us via email at: email@example.com, or give us a call on 42943421.
We will refund the full amount for any products that have not met our promise, so please don’t hesitate to contact us. The only thing we request is that our customers advise us within 24 hours of receiving delivery. All refunds will be credited back to the account the customer made payment with and will appear in 2-3 business days of the items being notified and a photo being supplied of the condition of the faulty product or it being physically returned. Darkes will cover the cost of delivery if it is deemed it should be returned. Please have your order number ready when corresponding.
If you wish to receive a full refund of your order, Darkes will refund the total amount including the delivery fee.
Please note that refunds can only be processed back on the same card or mode of payment used for an online order.
